London venue hire for seminars at a fantastic event venue in London
The Chamber is situated on the 2nd floor of City Hall and is used primarily to support the function of the Greater London Authority. As one of the most prestigious rooms in City Hall the availability is limited but the space can be hired occasionally for events such as theatre style seminars with a capacity of 250. Hire of the Chamber can be split into morning, afternoon, all day or evening with times as below:
Morning 08:00 - 12:30
Afternoon 13:00 -17:30
All Day 08:00 - 17:30
Evening 18:00 - 22:30
Venue Services
Once chairs and equipment are set up, the room can hold a theatre style seminar for 120 people.
What’s Included
An event in the Chamber can offer a tea and coffee service (morning/afternoon) in the surrounding viewing gallery areas. The maximum capacity of these areas combined is 175 people.
Hiring of the Chamber includes:
- Broadcast ability.
- PA system.
- 50 microphone ports.
- 2 x 50” plasma screens.
- Induction loop.
- 4 x lapel microphones.
- 4 x roving microphones.
- 3 x lecterns with microphones.
- 2 x DVD players.
- iPod connection.
Chargeable Services
Our AV team will be onsite to ensure that the room is set up and sound checks are complete. If you require a technician* to stay with you during your event to monitor sound levels etc a charge will apply.
*Notification must be received 2 and ½ weeks before the event date.
